Some quick "stretches to help sciatica" coupled with taking aspirin (the only painkiller that did anything to alleviate the pain, bizarre, I know) started to work. I started exploring Yoga many years ago, with the hope of it helping my sciatica, which at its worst, was completely debilitating. My question is has anyone had experience where they pushed thru it and got better? As if once my core strength is better, my back pain will be less?

I want to continue but not if I'm hurting myself more by doing so. But afterwards my back hurts more and the next day as if all that movement has irritated my back. I don't have any issues doing any of the positions. I decided to do it! I have been doing the program for about a week now. So recently I heard DDP on Rogan podcast and was inspired by his story and passion. I have been told numerous times over the last couple of years to do yoga, "it's great for your back". The shots work but I don't want to have to go for that every 3 to 4 months forever.

I have done everything from PT, acupuncture, epidural shots, RF ablation, inversion table etc. L4 and L5 are herniated, pain down left leg and I have arthritis in thorasic region. I've had lower back pain for over 2 years.
